Patterned wallpaper and Renovlies painting in Rijsoord
This project in Rijsoord included several finishing stages and therefore required a precise sequence of work. The walls were first prepared with a Festool sanding machine so the substrate would be suitable for the next layers and the wallpaper could be installed neatly.
The ceiling was then painted in colour 9010 with two coats. After that, Renovlies and acrylic were applied in the corners. This step created stable walls and clean transitions before the decorative part of the project started.
In addition to Renovlies, coloured wallpaper and decorative patterned wallpaper were carefully installed. This made the job challenging and labour-intensive, because clean painting and precise wallpaper installation had to support each other. The final result combines practical wall preparation with visible decorative finishing. The room now has neat walls, a well-finished ceiling and extra character through the patterned wallpaper.
Rijsoord is a project where several finishes follow one another. The text therefore describes not only the final appearance but also the work sequence: sanding, ceiling painting, Renovlies, acrylic and then wallpaper. That sequence explains why the project was labour-intensive and why precision remained important.
The combination of coloured wallpaper and patterned wallpaper remains deliberately separate, because both elements were present in the original description and together define the final look.
