Zijden , Steden en Zichten
For this project in Zijden, Steden en Zichten, the walls were first carefully sanded with Festool equipment. This preparation was needed to create a smooth surface before the Renovlies finish was applied. A flat base is especially important when both paint and decorative wallpaper are used later in the project.
After sanding, Renovlies wallpaper was installed. The walls were then painted with two coats of Cream Pearl. Applying two coats creates more even coverage and allows the soft colour to show properly. The finish was then completed with decorative patterned wallpaper.
The project therefore combines several elements: wall preparation, Renovlies, Cream Pearl paintwork and patterned wallpaper. As a result, the finish is not only clean but also decorative. The room received an elegant and refined appearance, with the calm paint layer and patterned wallpaper complementing each other.
The expansion keeps the decorative side of the project clearly separated from the technical wall build-up. Festool sanding, Renovlies and Cream Pearl form the base; the patterned wallpaper provides the visible accent. This gives the page more substance without making the project larger than it was.
